Job descriptionSome careers have more impact than others.If you're looking for a career where you can make a real impression, join HSBC and discover how valued you'll be.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.Business: Enterprise Technology L3Principal responsibilitiesThis job role is responsible for software development for Visualization, Planning and Forecasting system for Insurance Finance, including:

Responsible for analysis, design, development, implementation and maintenance of MI Layer.
Work closely with business representatives to understand user requirements and transform these requirements into technical design.
Build the solutions which meet user requirements.
Participate in the system integration activities with the other technology teams
Ensure the solution comply with internal control standards, group compliance policy, group architecture policy and standards.
Ensure the stories are delivered on time and within budget to an agreed level of quality.
Apply specialist expertise in the development of technical solutions with the objective of optimizing operational performance and improving quality whilst increasing cost effectiveness.
Provide production support to ensure smooth operation of the system.

Requirements

Hands on experience in application designing, architecting, data modelling, development and deployment on GCP Cloud platform.
Strong database designing and SQL skills.
Strong analytical, design and problem solving skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent time management skills and strong initiative.
Proactive, self-motivated, open-minded, reliable and independent.
