- Lead translational medicine strategies to support clinical development programs.
- Design and implement biomarker discovery and validation studies to enhance therapeutic efficacy.
- Collaborate with preclinical and clinical teams to ensure seamless integration of scientific research into clinical applications.
- Develop and oversee protocols for translational research studies, ensuring scientific rigour.
- Analyse and interpret data to provide insights that guide clinical trial design and execution.
- Present findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and external collaborators.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in the life sciences industry to inform research strategies.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior scientists and team members.
- 5-10 years of experience in clinical trials or translational research in bio pharmaceutical companies, with a focus on cell therapy, oncology, immunology, and metabolism.
- Proficiency in basic medicine, clinical medicine, pharmacology, molecular biology, and cell biology.
- Expertise in techniques such as FACS, PCR, IHC, FISH, NGS, LBA, proteomics, and genomics.
- Familiarity with multi-omics data analysis methods (genomics, proteomics, metabolomics) and experience in biomarker development.
- Ability to translate basic research findings into clinical applications, design and implement translational research projects, and understand disease mechanisms, drug mechanisms, and biomarker research methods.
- Knowledge of the characteristics and requirements of different clinical trial phases, including protocol design, ethical approval, patient recruitment, data collection and analysis, and report writing.
- Familiarity with domestic and international regulations and guidelines for drug development and clinical trials, such as ICH-GCP, FDA guidelines, and NMPA regulations, to ensure compliance and avoid regulatory risks.
- Understanding of the operations of ethics committees to ensure research projects meet ethical standards and protect participants' rights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English.
