- Build a secure, compliant, and ethical data environment, ready for the next wave of AI-native fintech.
- Empower every FundPark team to be data-driven, from internal dashboards to merchant-facing analytics and beyond.
- Serve on the executive team, drive data strategy aligned with FundPark's purpose, and provide visibility to all stakeholders.
- Act as the chief evangelist for data - shaping culture, setting vision, and ensuring data is central to every conversation.
- Build and lead our enterprise-wide data governance framework, including policies, standards, and stewardship models.
- Ensure regulatory and privacy compliance across all jurisdictions (e.g. GDPR, PIPL, financial regulations).
- Define and enforce data quality and ethical usage standards, especially as we scale AI/ML across products and credit models.
- Architect and oversee modern, scalable, and cloud-native data infrastructure
- Lead the end-to-end data lifecycle: ingestion, storage, transformation, access, and monitoring.
- Evaluate and implement new tools to drive performance, security, and cost efficiency across our data stack.
- Manage external data platforms and vendors, ensuring alignment with growth, reliability, and compliance needs.
- Build and execute a robust enterprise analytics strategy - from business intelligence to advanced ML-driven insights.
- Empower teams with self-service data tools, promoting democratization of insights and real-time decision-making.
- Drive the development of predictive models that enhance underwriting, fraud detection, customer segmentation, and operational efficiency.
- Translate complex data into clear narratives and actionable outcomes for executive stakeholders.
- Data + Strategy DNA: You're not just a data leader - you're a business builder who sees data as a lever for growth, innovation, and resilience.
- Technical fluency: Deep understanding of modern data architectures, governance frameworks, and cloud-native platforms.
- Regulatory expertise: Proven ability to lead data governance and compliance in highly regulated environments (financial services, fintech, etc.).
- Analytical leadership: Track record in building and scaling analytics teams that deliver measurable business impact.
- Executive presence: Able to influence at all levels, from boardroom strategy to engineering roadmap reviews.
- Cross-functional builder: Comfortable working across product, risk, compliance, and engineering to align vision with action.
- Start-up mindset: Bias for action, thrives in ambiguity, and ready to build before scaling.
- 10+ years of experience in data leadership roles, with at least 3 years in executive, C-level, or VP-level capacity.
- A successful track record of building data governance, infrastructure, and analytics capabilities, preferably in fintech environments.
- First-hand experience with AI/ML product integration
- Deep understanding of data privacy laws, regulatory frameworks, and enterprise data risk management.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate data into business value and influence across stakeholders.
