- Representing the group and the headquarter to the public (banks, government, investors, customers, stakeholders) and report to the Board of Directors.
- Developing the headquarter organisation of the group and ensure the coordination of the group's global business and the operational efficiency of the headquarter.
- Developing business strategies for existing business divisions or new businesses according to the directives of the Board of Directors.
- Responsible for the overall strategy implementation of the business strategies of the group. Supervise the implementation of the groups plans and programs and ensure compliance with rules, regulations and directives from the Board of Directors.
- Developing the annual overall business planning of the group and ensure proper reporting to shareholders and other external or internal stakeholders according to the group's business structure (divisions, regions and legal entities).
- Responsible for dealing with global major emergencies and major business issues
- Supervising local General Managers of group companies.
- Preparation for an IPO using external and internal headquarter and group company resources and report to existing shareholders and other stakeholders.
- Good communication skill in Mandarin and English. Oral and written Chinese is a MUST
- More than 5 years working for an international company based in or with an important subsidiary in China in a key position
- Successfully managing global and multicultural business should be part of the work experience
- Experiences with local Chinese government handling are required and should be based on working for large and medium-sized enterprises.
- Candidate with B2B industrial background is a MUST; Candidate who once had furniture, medical, or other key industry experience are highly preferred.
- Familiar with both Chinese and Western culture
- Bachelor degree or above, preferably in Western countries; candidate with Engineering background with be a PLUS
- Integrative, co-operative and motivating management style
- Candidate with IPO preparation or successful IPO experience will be highly preferred
