- Implement strategies to secure optimal funding and manage financial obligations effectively.
- Lead enterprise risk management initiatives, maintaining robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
- Ensure financial governance practices are in place to uphold transparency and accountability.
- Support business development activities, including mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and financing opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities for growth and improve overall business performance.
- Provide detailed financial analysis to senior management, offering recommendations on strategic decision-making.
- Act as a key advisor in determining the financial impact of key business decisions and market opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks, investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Represent the company's financial position and outlook to external stakeholders with credibility and confidence.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Drive professional development and succession planning within the finance and accounting team.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. A master's degree (e.g., MBA) or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles, including experience as a senior finance executive or CFO.
- Financial Expertise: Strong knowledge of financial planning, treasury management, tax regulations, compliance, and corporate finance, as well as experience with mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
- Analytical Skills: Expertise in financial modeling, analysis, risk management, and strategic decision-making.
- Leadership Ability: Proven ability to lead and inspire finance teams while driving organizational performance.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and relationship management skills, with experience engaging with senior stakeholders and external partners.
- Technology Skills: Proficient in financial systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms, and data analytics tools.
