We are looking for a talented intern for our Clarivate Consulting Internship Program to join our Academia & Government team in Beijing. As an intern, you will report to Director of Consulting business in China and collaborate with Sales, Customer Success team and other key stakeholders to deliver top-tier service to our clients.   • Pursuing Master or PhD’s degree in STEM.
  • Fluent Chinese and English in speaking and writing.

  • Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, R, Python, Visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of HTML language skills.
  • Knowledge of data science methods, e.g. statistical modeling, text-mining, machine learning, topic modeling or network analysis.
  • Ability to interact professionally and collaborate with diverse groups including clients, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile conflicts between them.

  • Ability to effectively manage projects and proven track record of successfully juggling multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.

What will you be doing in this role?Consulting Delivery
  • Designing and preparing analysis, data visualizations, report and presentations which clearly communicate findings.
  • Collaborating with diverse individuals including other analysts, technology experts, and scientific subject matter experts.
  • Secondar research and data collection.
  • Consulting with clients to identify their needs, manage their expectations and present complex research findings.
  • Typical projects include reports evaluating a research portfolio, interactive tools for examining a research field, organization or network, and datasets for use by institutions in their internal reporting systems.
Service Delivery
  • Diving deep into the full project execution process of service delivery, ensuring that tasks are advanced on schedule and completed to the highest quality, providing clients with an exceptional service experience.
  • Engaging in effective communication with stakeholders to accurately grasp requirements and clearly articulate project outcomes.
  • Collaborating with local and global teams to well execute delivery throughout the whole process to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Leveraging creativity and professional knowledge to design and prepare service content, reports, and presentations.
About the TeamClarivate’s Academic and Government Consulting is a diverse group of practitioners working across the global delivering consulting revenue globally. The Academic and Government Consulting group is made up of three practice areas: Research Analytics, Reputation, and Evaluation & Assessment. Across our practice areas, there is also a wide range of skill sets (e.g., data scientists, bibliometricians, visualization specialists, analysts, etc.). Across our different practice areas there is also a wider variety of capabilities and services we provide to clients along with different commercial and go-to-market models.Hours of Work
  • This is a 3-month program starts from Aug/Sep. You will need to work 5 days each week.
  • We provide flexible working time with hybrid working model, up to 2-3 days working in Beijing office per week.
