We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tax & Finance Supervisor to join our team. This pivotal role involves steering financial operations with a focus on internal controls, tax management, and monthly closing processes. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with finance and operational teams to uphold transparent and efficient financial practices, ensuring compliance with national fiscal policies and facilitating timely, accurate financial reporting. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a finance professional eager to contribute leadership, enhance internal processes, and support broader organizational financial goals within a globally recognized group.Key Responsibilities: * Internal Control:
- Develop a deep understanding of the company's business processes from a financial perspective to assist management in updating internal procedures and finance policies as needed.
- Conduct regular health checks on expenses, procurement (Procure-to-Pay), fixed asset management, and reimbursement activities, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Perform monthly reviews of balance sheets to maintain transparency and promptly resolve outstanding items such as Goods in Transit (GIT), supplier invoices, accounts receivable and payable discrepancies.
- Serve as a key user for financial systems including ACDC, GTS, Esker, Concur, and SAP (preferred), providing system support and training to team members to enhance operational efficiency.
- Coordinate and support information requests from internal and external auditors, ensuring smooth audit processes and timely responses.
- Assist finance-related projects by providing expertise and ensuring alignment with financial controls and policies.
- Tax Management:
- Provide guidance on VAT, Corporate Income Tax (CIT), stamp duty, and ensure statutory reports are prepared or checked in compliance with PRC accounting policies.
- Maintain effective communication with tax authorities and assist in day-to-day tax audits to ensure adherence to regulations.
- Lead training efforts to improve the team's tax-related work processes, promoting transparency and operational health.
- Offer tax advice to business departments in line with national tax legislation, assess potential tax risks, and support tax budgeting activities.
- Monthly Closing:
- Issue timely notifications regarding monthly cut-off deadlines and coordinate activities across finance and operational departments to meet closing schedules.
- Pre-review and validate financial reports, including group consolidation reports, to ensure accuracy and punctuality before final approvals.
- Manage additional reporting requirements such as sustainability reports, business partner assessments, and insurance reports on a quarterly or annual basis as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with comprehensive accounting and finance knowledge.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in finance or business control, demonstrating strong responsibility, leadership, and communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of national fiscal and tax policies, risk control practices, and familiarity with audit processes (both internal and external).
- Excellent proficiency in English, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate within an international business environment.
- Experience with SAP systems is highly preferred, along with proficiency in other financial management software.
