We are looking for a Computing Teacher and Digital Lead for a bilingual school in Hangzhou. This position is available from the upcoming 2026/27 academic year in August 2026.About the schoolThis premium bilingual day and boarding school in Hangzhou offers a through-train education from Kindergarten to Grade 12 for students aged 3–18, with a Lower School, Upper School, and Kindergarten on one modern campus. The school currently educates over 500 students and has a team of over ten expatriate teachers, with the majority of the student body being Chinese nationals following a distinctive curriculum that blends the Chinese Curriculum with key elements of international education.   • Teach the subject of computing to secondary school students utilizing the IGCSE/A-level framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
  • Create and maintain an excellent learning environment that promotes a positive attitude toward Computing
  • Differentiate and structure lessons according to student ability and year-group curriculum targets
  • Serve as Digital Lead, collaboratively driving the school’s digital strategy and embedding digital technologies across the curriculum
  • Complete high-quality teaching plans on time and regularly assess students through formative and formal assessments, reporting concerns to the Head of Faculty
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of your teaching and participate fully in the staff appraisal and classroom observation process
  • Help develop, implement, and document school policies for Computing and support the resourcing of Computing and Digital Learning
  • Uphold and apply school rules consistently to maintain discipline, student wellbeing, and a safe learning environment
  • Contribute to pupils’ holistic wellbeing and involve the wider community in celebrating student progress and success
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in the relevant field
  • Relevant teaching experience in an international setting
