1. Main point of contact for the customer and has the technical decision authority for the project.2. Creating and executing project engineering work plans, understanding customer requirements and specification
3. Managing resources in conjunction with horizontal managers, manufacturing and other stakeholders
4. Helping resolve day-to-day engineering operational aspects of project and scope
5. Effectively managing project risk through mitigation planning
6. Supporting Project team in their monitoring and reports of, timing, income, expense and resource management
7. Ensuring all project technical documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
8. Monitor project status (including supplier status)
9. Lead Gate reviews, CCB and manage key activities related to changes and problems (at both project and SW level): Determine prioritization Provide approvals Progress updates / impediments / escalations (ensure the team are working according to plan / customer expectations) Impact analysis Post implementation review
10. Consistently acknowledge and appreciate each team member's contributions
11. Effectively utilizes each team member to his/her fullest potential
12. Motivates the entire Project team to work together in the most efficient manner
13. Keep track of lessons learned and share those lessons with team members and other project teams
14. Mitigate team conflict and communication problems
15. Teach (based on experience) the team and functional managers to ensure that relevant communication with the customer is done in a timely and appropriate manner Personal attributes and behaviors expectations

2. Playing a PD lead role in at least 2 cockpit Electronics development.
