We are growing and therefore looking for a self-driven Staff Product Engineer to work cross-functionally on a diverse range of challenges. He/She will be responsible for SiC discrete semiconductor products (diodes, FETs, modules) from RTM to mass production with the goal of high performance, high reliability, optimized cost, and customer satisfaction. The company provides a rich environment for technical and career growth in an exciting field, with excellent prospects for commercial success.Your OpportunityWe are seeking a Customer Quality Engineer responsible for providing CQE support to Power Devices in China Region.The responsibilities will include:As a Customer Quality Engineer, you will represent the Business Unit for all aspect related to quality and reliability for semiconductor products. Your role will be to act as a customer advocate and liaison to improve customer satisfaction and to solve product quality issues. A firm knowledge of all aspects of semiconductor fabrication, testing and failure modes is required.Key Responsibilities Include: * Track customer quality performance, analysis of customer returns and maintain customer documentation database
  • Ability to refine and publish customer reports, respond to SCARs, complete FAI reports and source inspections
  • Act as the voice and advocate of the customer for product quality
  • Interact with multiple functional groups such as customers/sales/product engineering/design/reliability on quality issues
  • Actively address product quality performance on Field Failure Returns and Quality Material Returns (RMAs), analysis of data and drive implementation of improvement programs
  • Complete customer satisfaction assessments
  • Coordinate customer meetings and audits
  • Manage and direct customer queries and questionnaires as needed
  • Ensure compliance with quality managements systems such as PCN and EOL procedures
  • Lead problem solving teams using 8D
Requirements * Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering, MS preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as demonstrated by the ability to explain complex technical issues to customers
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, team-oriented, collaborative and a willingness to learn
  • Broad technical knowledge of semiconductor wafer fab, assembly and test processes is desirable
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Semiconductor field or Quality experience
  • Familiarity with Automotive quality, industry standards including ISO 9001 and IATF16949, 8D problem solving, FMEAs, Lean principles and Six Sigma methodology is a plus
  • Excellent project management skills as demonstrated ability to prioritize the workload, proactively address problems and meet deadlines
  • Ability to travel to suppliers, subcontractors, and customers as required (domestic and international)
