This role is categorized as on-site. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to HQ Building in Shanghai, China 3-5 times as per needs.The Role -The student intern will mainly support research projects in the area of automotive power electronics, including literature survey, modeling, simulation and testing.What You’ll Do -
- Support top notch research in electric drive systems focusing on power electronics and document results.
- Literature review, model and simulation, testing.
- Interface and collaborate with GM researchers.
- Education/Training
- Ph.D. (preferred) or Master student in related disciplines such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and automotive engineering.
- Extensive research experience in automotive power electronics.
- In-depth understanding of research and innovation process.
- Knowledge/Skills
- Familiar with motor design software such as Matlab/Simulink, Plecs, etc.
- Demonstrated knowledge in automotive electric drive systems.
- Demonstrated capability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
