Job descriptionSome careers have more impact than others.If you're looking for a career where you can make a real impression, join HSBC and discover how valued you'll be.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.Business: Global Banking TechnologyPrincipal responsibilitiesParticipate in all aspects of solution implementation, from analyzing client business requirements to defining test automation approaches and testing Microsoft Dynamics applications and SSIS data processing to meet the customer's needs.Work independently or as part of a team to design, develop, test, and implement automated tests for end-to-end scenarios using Selenium/Cucumber automation frameworks in Python/Java.Working closely with the Pods and BAs in the initial stages of the project and apply analytical skills to understand the business requirements and change requests. Translate those requirements into a clear and unambiguous manner for the test resources (Developers, BAs and the QA Analyst), Arrive at Test Automation Efforts for in sprint testing, integrated testing and regression cycles.Ensure traceability between requirements and automated test cases.Understand data needs for testing, liaising with the PM/support teams and relevant parties for data, batch requirements.RequirementsExperience with quality engineering test automation using common automation frameworks for FE and APIs (including but not limited to Selenium/Cucumber/Pytest/TestNG).Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in front-end and API automation skills.Thoroughly understand and adhere to a process-driven implementation approach.Develop the following abilities:- Analyze User Stories and provide Testing Efforts- Define Test Automation strategy for Dynamics 365 testing and automation testing for regression- Define test automation approach and E2E scenario along with test optimization practices within PODs and across PODs- Conduct new joining training sessionsBe proficient in either Python or Java and be able to independently build automated test frameworks and deploy automated environments.Be familiar with TOSCA features, such as user management, reusable test blocks/libraries, TCD, and library management in multi-user mode.Be responsible for executing automated test cases.Have experience implementing unattended and distributed execution.Create and execute smoke and regression test automation packages.Proficiency in test management tools such as VSTS and/or JIRA, and the defect management lifecycle.On-time feature delivery.Experience developing automated tests using Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) is a plus.Ability to use Azure DevOps and MS TFS as test management tools is a plus.Job RequirementsFamiliar and experienced in:
