Join us to Play, Grow and Win - together.ABOUT THE POSITIONVirtuos is looking for a talented Senior Systems Designer to collaborate with us to create a first class AAA strategy game.The Senior Systems Designer will be responsible for creating modern game systems for a console/PC strategy game and designing compelling player choice, and player progression.Responsibilities:

Become intimately familiar the game's direction and vision

Work closely with leads to extensively identify and ideate core game systems for the project, achieving AAA quality results

Created detailed documentation for game economy, resource management, unit progression, technology trees, and diplomatic systems

Analyse player feedback and metrics to refine game balance and player experience

Collaborate with programmers and artists to implement and iterate on game systems

Help the lead/director to scope out and prototype key systems to demonstrate the core game concept to the team

Actively participate in design discussions and design reviews

Point out design risks on the creative and production side to the management team to avoid potential risks.

Train and mentor junior designers on relevant design tools and production tools

Qualifications:

3~5 years Game Design Experience, experience in Unreal Engine 5 game development is a big plus

Has at least worked on 1 released strategy title, and has complete development experience

Effective English written and reading competency required. Proficient oral English is a big plus, but not a strict requirement

Experience in working with any of the following: core economy, resource management, and unit progression

Strong ability to deconstruct high level creative direction into specific technical details, features and tasks for system design

Ability to work in highly collaborative, interdisciplinary, iterative environments

Proficiency in game development tools and scripting languages to prototype gameplay

Excellent problem solving skills

Good at mentoring other designers on his project and inside the Design Department

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

A passion for strategy games
