We have an immediate opening forFactory Products EngineerYour roleThe primary objective of this position is in process development to lead cross functional team in developing assembly processes to meet manufacturability and testability requirement. Transfer of products from NPI phase to volume production and sustaining it till products end-of-life.Early involvement in Product Creation process, from T0 phase to full scale mass production.Drive projects to develop supplier and/or in house manufacturing processes, quality system, continuous improvement system to achieve problem resolution.Additional task and responsibilities as needed to fulfill department objectivesKey challenges are to meet set targets on quality, cost, productivity and competence in process development.Responsibilities
- Collect, coordinate and review of design requirement from engineering to ensure process compatibility and according to DFM guideline.
- Participate in project team as key representative to transfer product project to production.
- Create/maintain Process flow chart, pFMEA and control plan. Create NPI report after each build and call for post mortem review, drive root cause failure analyses and improvement action.
- Develop process procedures, test equipment and data collection methods for production.
- Continuously fully comply with all good manufacturing practice standard requirements.
- Manage change, ensure ECO validation/implementation are executed accordingly.
- Responsible to stop further processing in the event of encountering non-conforming products condition.
- Participate in process problems, RMA investigation, corrective action plan and execution.
- Report product quality and develop action trackers.
- Driver for continuous improvement in quality, delivery and cost.
- Drive lean manufacturing initiatives.
