This is the Invention Age - and this is where you come in.This short-term role calls for excellent English communication skills and a solid grasp of AI, machine learning, prompt engineering, and context engineering. The main focus will be enhancing customer-facing documentation for Telematics Application Framework (TelAF) solutions by utilizing AI for diagram generation tools like Mermaid, as well as leveraging advanced platforms for documentation and content analysis that streamline the creation, review, and management of technical materials.Beyond improving customer resources, this position will contribute to developing user guides and frameworks that empower customers to generate up-to-date, accurate, and comprehensive sequence diagrams and documentation on their own, using regulated prompt and context engineering techniques. If time allows, the role may also involve building sample applications atop TelAF with AI tools and supporting productivity initiatives that make extensive use of artificial intelligence.The results of these efforts will be shared with the TelAF open-source community whenever possible, ensuring collective growth and innovation.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, information science, data science, or related field.Preferred QualificationsExcellent English communication skills (written and verbal), motivated to work with teams across multiple time zones. Experience with technical writing and documentation in English.A quicker learner with proven track records.1+ years’ combined experience and strong interests in two of the following technical areas:
  • Hands-on experience in AI / machine learning / prompt engineering / context engineering that contributed to one or more successful projects
  • Hands-on experience with Visual Studio and its extensions
  • Hands-on experience on JavaScript, Python, or shell script
  • Basic understanding of cellular (e.g., 5G) and location (e.g., GNSS) technologies
  • C/C++ development experience on Linux
  • Knowledge about IDL and the code generation (e.g. Franca IDL / Common API, AIDL)
  • Experience in multi-threads, signals, priorities, deadlocks, stacks, interrupts, memory management, scheduler, synchronization methods, etc.
  • Familiar with Yocto build.
  • Cryptography, secure coding, Linux Mandatory Access Control, secure boot, and ARM TrustZone. Hands-on experience on telematics module product security from design to deployment
