
Research Analyst (Hybrid)

- Collect, maintain, and produce data on raw materials mining costs and production economics across various asset types.
- Perform thorough desk-based research and analysis on mining, processing and refining assets globally.
- Assist in developing and maintaining databases and models for cost curves and market analysis.
- Deconstruct aggregate capacity projections by production facility, company, country and region.
- Update databases and forecast models as needed based on inputs
- Assist the forecast and analytics team with content for subscription and consulting projects.
- Support the product team’s development of forecast products.
- Data contributions for presentations at industry events and forums.
- Contribute to consulting project work as required.
- Degree or experience in a relevant discipline (geology, mining, metallurgy, engineering, economics, or business).
- Experience or familiarity with the mining industry, raw materials and chemicals production and downstream manufacturing.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in cost analysis, financial modelling, or commodity markets.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and Excel; familiarity with mining cost databases is a plus.
- Ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
- Interest or experience in the mining and raw materials industry or battery sector preferred.
- Fluency in verbal and written English.
- Use of Artificial Intelligence for research and analysis a plus.
