Service Sales Specialist
Summary
Responsible for the sales of COMPANY control system, service, and control + instrumentation (measurment instruments and analytic instruments) solutions in Hong Kong and Macau. Achieves both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. Responsible to identify and develop new sales opportunities, epsecially in energy industries, like power, water, environment, oil & gas, chemical & refinery.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Sells control system, instrument, and service to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for the assigned divisions.
  • Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand their needs, promotes their understanding of COMPANY’s complete offering, and aligns with them to provide a solution.
  • Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
  • Prepares sales plans using COMPANY authorized tools.
  • Creates added value for the customer and COMPANY and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals, by using effective sales techniques.
  • Communicates to the customers about the details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with COMPANY’s offering and strategy.
  • Ensures efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers.
  • Manages administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.
  • Prepares offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing/Sales Manager.
  • Ensures appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers are in place, including prices and trading conditions.
  • Builds long lasting customer relationships and manages the resolution of their specific needs/issues
  • Ensures knowledge sharing and cross-division and cross-country collaborations
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor Degree; rich experience in measurement and analytic industry, nice to have experience in digital projects.
  • 5-10 years Direct Sales experience for relevant end users
  • Industry requirements: In power generation, environmental protection, water-related industries, as well as the gas and coal-fired sectors.
  • Product scope: Automation, instrumentation , DCS, PLC etc. are preferred.
  • Familiar with HK market and culture that will help the candidate to develop business efficiently.
  • Proficient communication in English, Cantonese and Putonghua(Mandarin)
