You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions and drive sustainable growth.Get to Know the RoleAs the Head of Retail Supply Chain, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of Grab's operations across Southeast Asia. This senior leadership role is a blend of strategic vision, operational excellence, and collaboration, requiring deep expertise in supply chain optimization, category development, and competitive strategy.You will report to the Head of Deliveries & ACE and scale marketplace initiatives, driving commercial success, and leading a high-performing team to achieve Grab's ambitious goals.The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
  • Inventory Management: Work with ground teams to set up a robust system for demand forecasting and inventory tracking and management
  • Procurement: Work with local buyers to understand local needs, and procure on behalf of the company from global suppliers
  • Logistics and Fulfilment: Manage end-to-end delivery of goods to the outlets; and picking, packing and last mile delivery within outlets
  • Strategy and Insights: Apply deep knowledge of chinese e-commerce ecosystems (e.g. Alibaba,
, Pinduoduo, Douyin) to inform local strategies and defend against competitors. * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Design, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and Analytics teams to scale marketplace initiatives and drive seller performance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, build and mentor a high-performing, regionally distributed team of E-commerce professionals.
  • P&L Ownership: Drive the business to hit commercial and operational targets, including revenue, cost efficiency, and user engagement metrics.
QualificationsWhat Essential Skills You Will Need
  • 10+ years of experience in e-commerce, retail, or supply chain management, with significant time in leadership roles. Experience with e-commerce platforms is a strong advantage.
  • Deep knowledge of category selection frameworks, merchandising strategies, and consumer trends.
  • Proven track record in scaling supply chain operations and logistics in fast-paced marketplaces.
  • Demonstrates ability to outmaneuver competitors and implement strategies in mature and emerging markets.
  • Hands-on experience managing P&L, launching large-scale campaigns, and driving commercial success.
  • Strong analytical skills with a structured approach to experimentation, optimization, and performance management.
  • Adaptability: High resilience and bias for action in dynamic and culturally diverse environments.
