Located in the Minhang District of Shanghai, the school has world class facilities that complement our innovative approach.Our staff are from 10 different countries with significant numbers of colleagues from China, the UK, Ireland and North America.THE ROLEA key member of the Secondary Chinese department, you'll help us to enhance and develop the provision of Secondary Chinese to all our students. Focused on developing a high performing department, our Secondary School Chinese teachers will work together, to give inspiration and guidance to all students and members of the secondary school.You will play a major role in deciding on future academic direction of the subject and be responsible for student outcomes, and to work effectively with all members of the department.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Deliver middle school Chinese to G6-8 students, while be the Form Tutor of a class of 24 students.

Participate in the PD sessions of the department, and contribute to the teaching and learning sharings.
Inspire students confidence, and establish trust among colleagues.
Teamwork with colleagues and adapt to the bilingual English and Mandarin environment.
Be analytical in exploring new teaching and learning methods

PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS * At least 2 years full time teaching experiences in middle school Chinese in a school environment. 2年以上初中语文全职教学经验，需要在学校环境中。优秀应届硕士毕业生可不需要2年教学经验。

Holding a national teaching license in Middle School Chinese. 持有初中语文教师资格证书。
Able to manage classroom disciplines well with a class size of 24 students. 具备优秀的控班能力及课堂纪律管控能力（24人大班课）。
Able to communicate in basic English. 英语可以作为工作语言。
