Focus on polymer assembly technologies, such as sealing, gluing, coating for innovative global products.As an expert, you develop and release assembly technologies and processes in close collaboration with local and global suppliers and plants. Potential to act as (partially) project leader (integrator) for AIT technologies.
Process development and release of polymer assembly technologies for automotive and non-automotive products
Support of local and global production sites and purchasing/supplier activities with special regards to polymer assembly technology
Selection and implementation of appropriate assembly technologies and materials e.g. adhesive technology, thermal interface materials etc.
Working in technical projects using appropriate development tools and methodologies and acting as interface between local development in China and central development in Germany
On demand tasks for project leader (integrator role) for AIT projects in terms of budget, quality, schedule control.
Qualifications
Education: Completed master study in chemistry, polymer, material science and engineering
Engineering work experience in polymer-related technologies
Special know how regarding polymer materials and processes, as well as in assembly and interconnect technologies
Working experience in PCB conformal coating, sealing and thermal interface material
Familiar with material evaluation and characterization (FT-IR, DMA, SEM,EDX,etc)
Basic knowledge on statistical data analysis and DoE methodology
Good knowledge in using engineering methodologies in solving different tasks / problems during process development
