Hands-on experience with at least one major simulation tool (Isaac Sim, Gazebo, Unity, or Unreal). Familiarity with ROS 2 and robotics development workflows. Experience with domain randomization and synthetic data generation. Knowledge of physics engines and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or software-in-the-loop (SIL) setups. Understanding of sim-to-real transfer techniques and performance benchmarking. HIL/SIL, scenario-based safety testing, coverage metrics for autonomy stacks. Asset pipelines (USD/USDZ/FBX/GLTF), PBR rendering, RTX-class ray-tracing for photoreal sensors. Humanoid or mobile manipulation experience (MoveIt Task Constructor, whole-body control, grasp/placement). RL/IL for robotics (Gymnasium, Isaac Lab, ManiSkill, or custom), including reward shaping and off-policy evaluation. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. Build and maintain simulation environments for robotic platforms using industry-standard tools. Model sensors (camera, LiDAR, IMU) and environments for realistic testing. Generate synthetic data and run large-scale simulations for algorithm validation. Collaborate with perception, planning, and controls teams to ensure smooth sim-to-real workflows.
