This is a full-time position starting in August 2024.About the schoolThe school is a private international language school which is located in Guangzhou. It provides curricula from preschool to Grade 12, which includes the Chinese national curriculum (nine-year compulsory education), and as an IBO-authorized school, international curricula which consist of IB PYP & MYP) and American high school program (with Cognia Accreditation) are provided independently.Job ResponsibilitiesBe responsible for the day-to-day management of the Programme within the spirit of the school‘s Vision and Mission StatementBe in charge of the development of the Programme with the ultimate aim of running the International Baccalaureate courses with eventual full recognition by the IBProviding all teachers in the Programme with a strong professional development programme, including the training of teachers in collaboration with the CoordinatorAdvising the Principal on the staffing, budgetary, and facilities needsLiaising with the school’s registrar to make certain that students’ records are maintainedRequirementsBachelor’s degree, PGCE or PGDE with at least 10 years of teaching experienceCollaborative team playerAbility to apply current technology to staff development and instructional deliveryExcellent communication skills with students, staff, and parents.Successful teaching experiencePrior training and experience in an IB program are preferred but not requiredSalary and benefitSalary is negotiableAdditional housing allowance of 2,000 RMB a monthFully paid Summer and Winter holidaysPublic holidaysMedical health insuranceFree tuition for one child
