- Build, lead, and mentor a multidisciplinary AI team combining expertise in computational biology, machine learning, and structural bioinformatics.
- Foster collaboration between AI, wet lab, and clinical research teams.
- Research & Development
- Drive development of protein folding prediction models, including integrating AlphaFold-like architectures and beyond.
- Oversee target discovery & design through large-scale multi-omics analysis, molecular docking simulations, and de novo antibody engineering.
- Advance affinity prediction algorithms to optimize binding strength, specificity, and manufacturability of therapeutic antibodies.
- Lead integration of generative AI models for molecular design and optimization.
- Technology & Infrastructure
- Establish scalable AI computing infrastructure and data pipelines for multi-terabyte biological datasets.
- Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge open-source and proprietary AI tools into R&D workflows.
- Ensure robust IP protection for AI-driven discoveries.
- Partnerships & Innovation
- Build collaborations with academic institutions, technology companies, and research consortia.
- Stay at the forefront of AI advancements in structural biology, computational chemistry, and bioinformatics.
- Education: PhD in Computational Biology, AI/ML, Bioinformatics, Biophysics, or related field.
- Experience:
- 10+ years in AI/ML R&D, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in life sciences or biotech.
- Proven track record in protein structure prediction, antibody design, or related computational drug discovery.
- Strong understanding of deep learning architectures, generative modeling, and molecular dynamics simulations.
- Skills:
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, molecular modeling software (e.g., Rosetta, Schrödinger), and structural databases (e.g., PDB).
- Demonstrated ability to translate AI models into real-world therapeutic advancements.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a global perspective.
- Language: Proficiency in English and Mandarin.
- Salary in the range of $450000 to $500000 USD annually.
