Job Category: Production (Steel/Mining)Degree Level: Bachelor's DegreeJob Description:Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and carry out production works of Finish Mill.
  • Build process rules for Finish Mill to ensure high quality of product through correct rolling passes setup.
  • Fulfill and maintain automatic thickness and width control function and relevant improvements.
  • Mathematical models maintenance and improvements, for example roll force, roll gap, pass reduction distribution, AGC and AWC, SSC, etc.
  • Analyze the root-cause of problems for finish mill rolling process and take actions to prevent. For example, camber, cobble, skip-up and down, temperature, edge cracks, etc.
  • Control and improve the quality indexes of finish mill for specific steel grades, mainly focus on thickness and width.
  • Check equipment and ensure working precisions for finish mill.
  • Lower energy consumption through technical measures.

2. Qualifications of Experience and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or above with the academic backgrounds of Mechanical, Materials or Computer, etc.
  • A certain capability of computer programming with C++ etc.
  • At least 10 years working experience in rolling process in wide Hot Strip Rolling Mill, preferred to in silicon steel production.
  • At least 5 years working experience in thickness or width control in wide Sot Strip Mill.
  • Prefer to proficient English in reading, listening , speaking and writing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communications.
