- Implement and continuously improve the company’s EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) management system to ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate standards.
- Conduct regular safety risk assessments, identify potential hazards, and develop corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning to prevent recurrence.
- Participate in emergency response planning and drills to ensure preparedness.
- Support regulatory inspections, corporate audits, and customer assessments to maintain compliance.
- Participate in process safety reviews, support safety evaluations for new processes to ensure safe design and operation of processes.
- Establish and maintain chemical management systems covering procurement, storage, usage, transportation, and disposal in compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Safety Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.
- 7–10 years of EHS experience in biopharmaceutical or chemical industries. Familiarity with process safety methodologies (PHA, HAZOP, LOPA).
- Knowledge of Chinese EHS regulations and international standards (ISO14001, ISO45001).Hands-on experience in chemical management and explosion protection.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, strong sense of responsibility, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken); experience in multinational companies preferred.
- Certified Safety Engineer or international EHS certifications
- Project management experience or involvement in EHS support for plant construction/expansion projects.
