Education and Experience Requirements
  • Holds a Bachelor or above degree in a Technical or Engineering field or possesses relevant professional experience in the related field. MBA/EMBA is a plus.
  • Strategic thinker with proven track record in developing new business/markets while dealing in a complex environment.
  • 5+ years working experience in Product Management, Marketing, or similar role where your sense of innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship can be demonstrated, with an interest for starting up and growing business activities.
  • Experience of visibility on Asia market is a PLUS. 3+ years experience in building, managing, and coaching a team (team size is 5+ people) is a Must.
  • Excellent communication skills with cross-fucntional team in both local and global team from dirversified culture background
  • Excellent language skills, both oral and written in English.
  • Experience of developing company level strategy and drive implementation of strategy deployment.
Responsibilities
  • Strategic Marketing:
In collaboration with the GM and its board of directors, the strategic marketing Director will drive the strategy development of the company and its execution in term of products & services, channels to market, promotion and value proposition aiming to support our growth ambitions.
Undertand current and future players within industry, as well as disruptive dynamics and can articulate how these ming impact strategy.
This person will conduct thorough market research to create a mapping of our existing markets & trends, competitive landscape, and emerging geographical/business opportunities within the PES, IDGS and FLAS segment. The Strategic Marketing Director will help BEA Asia to build its 5 years plan, fuel a robust product road map, optimize portfolios, and guide our strategic actions to grow the business.
  • Product Leadership:
The Strategic Marketing Director will work closely with product management team to build an innovative and ambitious products & services road map that answers customer needs. Challenge the team to put innovation at the centre of our new product development. Encourage creativity to find new technical solutions in our product development to optimize the cost and performance of our sensor solutions. Consolidate a conving business case to drive decision from Global product council and resources on new product development.
We also expect this person to work with the new product development team to implement NPD and project mangement processes to ensure that projects are followed properly and released on time to meet customer expectations and respect the time to market.
Support and coach the sales team to achieve their goals and objectives in providing marketing intelligence and customer insights. Ensure a “technical/Sales” consultant approach when visiting customers bringing new concepts and new argumentations while promoting our sensor solutions.
  • Marketing Communication:
The Strategic Marketing Director will also manage marketing communication team to define and develop Marketing campaigns and tools to effectively reach and engage with all the key stakeholders of the strategy. He/She will ensure that the BEA branding strategy is correctly implanted in Asia reinforcing our identity and using the right resources and technologies to promote our sensors solutions on the market.
  • People Management:
Leading PM and Marketing team in Asia to drive profitable growth. This includes attracting, developing, and retaining talents with the right profiles, and structuring the team and its activities with a focus on continuous improvement.
Driving engagement and motivation within the team to deliver result and fully realizing the substantial potential of the team. Uses different approaches both long-term and short-term, (including visitionay, democratic and directive, etc.) to engage, motivate and enhance team.Skill Requirements
