- Assist in conducting local market research and competitive analysis for game audio and other segments towards strengthening Audiokinetic’s positioning within the China market;
- Ensure that marketing and communications initiatives surrounding product releases and updates are tightly integrated and aligned with the HQ Marketing team;
- Develop and distribute promotional and educational content including company blogs, videos and newsletters in alignment with global company guidelines;
- Identify local influencer communities, and source thought leadership and educational blogs and video content for the company’s China channels;
- Coordinate with internal localization team to ensure timely localization of content for and from the China market;
- Review translations of website content as well as marketing content and blogs prior to publishing;
- Coordinate all company events including community meetups in alignment with the Sales team, and larger marketing events such as the company’s Wwise Tour and Interactive Music Symposium, in alignment with HQ Marketing;
- Liaise with local vendors/suppliers/freelancers as needed;
- Upkeep a list of tradeshows in China, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to cater to requirements for participation;
- Manage the company’s brand image and presence at industry events;
- Maintain and optimize the company’s WeChat, Weibo and Bilibili accounts to grow the company's online community;
- In alignment with HQ Marketing, coordinate paid acquisition campaigns with Baidu and WeChat account managers, to promote the company digital presence and expand lead generation pipeline;
- Coordinate and promote educational events for the Audiokinetic Education Program and promote Wwise Certifications to students as well as academic institutions and universities;
- Support Sr. Education Program Manager, HQ, in collaborating with schools and universities in China;
- Provide administrative support to the team, and assist in maintaining up-to-date contacts in the company CRM following Sales and Business Development tradeshows and events;
- Align with HQ Marketing and Country Manager, China, to observe and maintain the Marketing budget for China;
- Monitor marketing KPIs while keeping HQ informed of progress.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or relevant field;
- At least two (2) to three (3) years of experience in a similar role;
- Background in sound design or music production, or in the gaming industry;
- Chinese fluency and English proficiency;
- Excellent written and verbal skills;
- Experience in managing corporate accounts on China specific online platforms and operations e.g. WeChat, Bilibili, Weibo, Baidu;
- Experience with event planning and execution;
- Experience in multimedia content creation;
- Multimedia skills (E.g. video editing, graphic design, PowerPoint);
- Extremely organized with the ability to prioritize short-term and long-term tasks;
- Exceptional thoroughness and attention to detail;
- Experience with CRMs and Marketing Automation software, an asset;
- Autonomy, resourcefulness, and willingness to quickly learn Wwise and various software;
- Open to domestic and international travel as required.
