- Testing Strategy & Execution:
- Define and implement the overall testing strategy for the core product and market rollouts.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage, including functional, integration, performance, and regression testing.
- Establish and maintain testing standards, processes, and best practices.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a global QA team across three IT centers (e.g., China, India, Poland).
- Allocate resources effectively to maximize efficiency and meet program timelines.
- Foster collaboration and communication across geographically distributed teams.
- Program Management:
- Collaborate with product, development, and business teams to align testing efforts with program goals.
- Manage testing schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely and high-quality releases.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to testing and quality assurance.
- Quality Assurance Governance:
- Oversee the development and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with banking regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all testing-related activities within the program.
- Provide regular updates on testing progress, risks, and outcomes to senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth delivery.
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the IT industry, with at least 5 years in quality assurance.
- Proven experience leading QA functions for complex, large-scale programs.
- Strong background in banking or financial services, with knowledge of banking systems and processes.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestNG, etc.).
- Experience with automation testing, performance testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with decision engines or similar platforms is a plus.
- Leadership Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage global teams across multiple time zones.
- Strong resource planning and allocation skills to optimize team efficiency.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the banking domain.B50
