Job Category: Underwriting / SalesJob Description:We are seeking a Marketing Actuary to join the SCOR L&H China team, with a focus on client and project management to help us achieve our strategic goal: of becoming an efficient, customer-focused, innovative, and highly technical life and health reinsurer. This role supports SCOR's commitment to delivering high-quality, value-added solutions to clients in China and fostering long-term, mutually beneficial growth.Responsibilities:Key duties and responsibilities1. Client Management
  • Be responsible for organizing, implementing, and achieving the annual business and financial targets of the assigned clients
  • Ensure deep understanding of responsible clients from all perspectives including Structure, distribution, personnel, strategic targets, pricing assumptions, etc.
  • Manage the whole quotation process incl. deal assessment, quotation, client communication, internal approval communication, treaty drafting/negotiation/documentation in an efficient manner
  • Ensure new business generated is consistent within SCOR L&H's risk appetite
  • Support external strategic projects with clients to enhance SCOR L&H China's value propositions to clients
  • Continuously look for solutions to create value for clients and increase SCOR's technical and innovative branding in order to bring profitable new business to SCOR L&H China
  • Support organizing market seminars to improve client relationship and increase SCOR's technical branding
  • Maintain and develop client relationships, and organize relevant client events
  • Closely follow up with market trends and regulation changes
  • Support internal transversal research and projects
2. Operation Management
  • Support CIRC and other organizations' (eg. CAA, Association of Insurance…etc) related affairs and requests
  • Support communications (internal & external) in other areas when necessary
Other Ad-hoc assignments and projectsQualifications:Required experience & competenciesExperiences
  • 2-6 years of relevant working experience in Life & Health insurance, reinsurance or consulting fields in China
  • Strong pricing and product development experiences, additional valuation and corporate reporting experiences preferred
  • Strong knowledge of the China insurance & reinsurance markets
  • Strong client contacts in China
  • Good command of English in order to participate in wider regional business discussions
Required Education
  • Associate or above level in any well recognized actuarial society
  • Master or above in Actuarial Science is preferred
