As Senior Material Manager, you will own the global end-to-end journey of every fabric and trim that goes into high-performance outdoor apparel. Lead a passionate materials team, set the worldwide sourcing strategy and never compromise on quality or sustainability.
  • Inspire, coach and scale a cross-functional team of material developers, specialists and QA experts across Europe and Asia.
  • Translate bold product concepts into technically feasible, compliant and cost-competitive materials.
  • Drive supplier performance through clear KPIs-delivery, lead-time, MOQ, cost and innovation.
  • Partner with Design, Product Management, Sustainability and Footwear teams from first sketch to final shipment.
  • Run risk-assessment sessions, root-cause analyses and corrective-action programs with mills, labs and trim vendors.
  • Scout and adopt next-gen functional and sustainable technologies at key textile fairs and R&D centres worldwide.
Steer high-performance material strategy across EU & AsiaEnd-to-end ownership: from supplier negotiations to final product quality
  • 10 + years in apparel materials with at least 3 years team management.
  • University degree in Textile Technology, Clothing Technology or similar.
  • Deep expertise in functional outdoor fabrics, dyeing, printing, finishing and testing methods.
  • Proven ability to negotiate price, capacity and innovation roadmaps with international suppliers.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
  • A collaborative spirit, an eye for detail and a relentless drive for continuous improvement.
