This international school is seeking a Middle School Physics Teacher to build a solid foundation of physics principles to give middle/high school grades students a broad base of understanding of Physics and prepare them for future AP classes and testing. Topics covered include Newtonian mechanics, work, energy, mechanical waves and sound, and introductory, simple circuits. Student-guided labs will give students hands-on experience and learning opportunities.All applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in the teaching subject (many teachers at this school hold multiple advanced degrees in their field), a minimum of two years teaching experience as the lead teacher of record in a classroom (this is a requirement to obtain a working visa), an eagerness and willingness to collaborate with and elevate teaching colleagues (teachers at this school come from all over the world and bring a wide variety of curricular backgrounds and experience), and high academic standards and a desire to make a difference in the rigour of international education.Salary for this position is competitive and dependent on education and experience.
