Sr Manager, Technical Marketing Battery

  • Actively visiting customers to promote existing Licity and Basonal Power portfolio, look for new project opportunities and build solid connection to their technology team, drive lab scale, pilot scale and production scale qualification.
  • Coordination of internal technical resources (R&D, lab, technical service lab) for new product development (customer new projects), process trouble shooting and other scale up issues.
  • Working closely with R&D to evaluate key features of binder properties, competitor sample benchmark, and build internal know-how for structure properties correlations.
  • Actively involve in daily operation of lab, responsible for the prioritization of testing tasks, and drive the lab to the most efficiency as it could.
  • Define and initiate R&D topics and ensure the pipeline, with primary focus on anode binder, and then extending to aluminum coating binder, separator binder, electrode binder (ASSB and S-ASSB) and cathode binder applications.
  • Actively involve in the cooperation with external partners e.g. research institute, participate the technical exchanges and drive the commercial launch of agreed projects.
  • Support marketing communication programs in the region covering promotion materials, seminars, fairs and workshops with customer, supporting the promotion activities in other regions especially the qualification at transplants (by battery producers), actively participate the qualification and contribute as one team.
  • Education: minimum master degree in chemistry, (chemical) engineering or chemistry and/or such related areas, preferably Ph.D, with background of electro-chemical related.
  • Working Experience: minimum 5 years (Ph.D), and 10 years (Master degree)
  • Technical & Professional Knowledge: LIB (lithium ion battery) or battery related area is a must, polymer dispersion and resin background (preferred but not required).
