Jabil IT strives to adapt to customer needs, while providing continuous improvement to existing processes and maintaining responsible cost management practices.The Business Intelligence Analyst Developer (BI) position is one of the key positions, part of the Digital Analytics team within Global Corporate IT. This position is responsible to collaborate with various stakeholders across Jabil to deliver business intelligence reporting solutions.Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Provides design support for the development of business intelligence solutions

Works on medium to complex and cross-functional IT and business intelligence solutions, e.g. gathering data and analyzing business and user needs in consultation with both business managers and end users
Works with internal, external customers and IT partners to develop and analyze business intelligence requirements and determines optimum BI solutions
Makes recommendations on BI tools selection to meet requirements
Creates, maintains, or enhances visualization dashboards residing in different platforms, e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, QuickSight
Creates and updates design, testing, and training documentation
Works on multiple tasks/projects as a team member

Collaborates with database analysts, data architects and data scientists to deliver analytics solutions
Conducts training and knowledge share with support team members, delivers demos to the business, and trains site users on analytics tools
Works closely with business users guiding them to create and maintain datasets for self-service analytics in BI tools
Troubleshoots performance issues in reports and dashboards and provides guidelines and solutions on performance tuning

Innovation/Other duties:

Drives continuous improvement through learning new technologies/best practices that will have an impact on enterprise BI systems
Communicates analysis results and makes recommendations to senior management
Participates in the exchange of ideas and information within the department
Ensures adherence to best practices throughout the Jabil organization
Champions and influences the development of the Jabil data analytics culture and community

Education & Experience Requirements

Degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, MIS, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or other computer related discipline preferred.
Minimum of 5 or more years working experience, at least 3 years in data analytics related area
Advanced skills in developing Business intelligence solutions
Advanced knowledge and experience using BI reporting tools, such as Power BI (including DAX and M Query), and/or Tableau

Good communicator and able to tell the story with data
Have a solid understanding of the benefits and key elements of data analytics
Experience with UI/UX and visual design considerations for reporting
Solid knowledge in data querying scripts, e.g. SQL, MDX
Knowledge of R and/or Python

Plus points:

Understanding of supply chain, manufacturing, and Finance functional areas a big plus
Knowledge of SAP functional areas
Experience with Agile software development lifecycle
Administration skills in Power BI or Tableau a big plus
Experience with Power Shell
Understanding of Cloud based technology – AWS, Azure.

Knowledge in Big data technology, Snowflake, AWS S3, Spark, No-SQL
Understanding of ETL processes (i.e., Talend)
Experience with data science related initiatives
