Job Purpose
  • Accelerate inorganic growth of GSK business in China through licensing, partnership, alliance and corporate development transactions (JV, M&A)
  • Optimize and maximize the value of GSK’s assets through licensing-out, partnership, and divesture.
Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with GSK China’s leadership team to understand current and future business strategy and needs;
  • Build and leverage a network of internal and external contacts, and understand potential partner capabilities and partnership opportunities;
  • Lead the search and evaluation initiatives for China market across different disease areas in line with GSK China and Corporate strategies;
  • Lead internal governance and approval process following the guidance from function head and other senior stakeholders;
  • Lead cross-functions transaction team to evaluate (including due diligence), negotiate and operationalize the transactions spanning different disease areas and technologies, and the transaction types include, but are not limited to, in-licensing, out-licensing, development collaborations, mergers and acquisitions, divestments, and equity investments.
  • Lead the post-transaction activities including business integration and separation;
  • Provide a solid understanding and insights to Global BD team for competitive landscape and external environment in China;
