Product Industrialization Engineer (External)

• Take charge of the product/part development and improvement of processes, tools and equipment at vendor sites, ensure the product/part quality from partners, leading to predictable, reliable, stable and efficient production processes. Pitcher of new product industrialization projects towards the sites.
• Review, escalate and deploy the product changes from/to suppliers including material, equipment, process, end of life. Etc.
• Be part of Integrated Supply Chain Group (ISC), take care of products in the Connected Care business cluster. Which covers devices, software and solutions business encompassing patient monitoring, etc.

• Initiate and oversee process technology development activities in the context of New Product Generation as well as product and solution technology roadmap.
• Ensure adherence to the applicable process for product introductions, qualifications and release
• Responsible for Manufacturing input in PDLM process focusing on DFx at supplier sides
• Is accountable for purchased/outsourced parts (PCB/A, Plastic, metal, cable, etc.) qualification, oversee the manufacturing, process/quality control and at supplier sides based on Product Specifications and Test Requirements from R&D.
• Orchestrate design for lean manufacturing with according inputs to “Product Development Lifecycel Management” workflows.
• Responsible for design changes at suppliers and their implementation
• Is accountable for purchased/outsourced parts structure setup and routing Master data until release to shipment.

• Employ equipment, practices, and procedures which promote a healthy, safe, and secure work environment.
• Execute the processes and standards with embedded quality into the way of working including adherence to compliance with safety, Cost regulatory- and environmental requirements as well as local laws, Philips General Business principles and other policies

• BS Engineering discipline or technical field, major in Elec-mechanical, electronical, or mechanical engineering education is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, PIE related functions, open to candidate from Quality, RD, NPI if they have strong engineering background
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required. Methodical, effective troubleshooting/ problem solving skills required.
• Language skills: Good Chinese and English skills are required.
