- Identify and design strategies for prioritized segments / geographies, challenge existing business focus and support SBUs / country to form growth plan, within / outside of current markets.
- Participate and roll out global strategic initiatives to APAC, e.g. incubate new business model.
- Collect and monitor market & competitor intelligence to provide local relevant insights.
- Collaborate with senior management on all aspects of the organization's strategic agenda.
- Attract & develop high potential employees and prepare them as talent pipeline to fuel the organization constantly.
- Bachelor's degree & above in Management / Engineering / Science from prestigious universities; master's degree and MBA preferred.
- 8-10 years experience in management consulting (2 years minimum, 3yrs+ preferred) and MNC in-house strategy in Chemical or other relevant B2B industries
- Strategic planning from end to end (project proposal, analytics, insights and recommendations, business and execution plan) & experience in various strategic topics (market deep-dives, growth strategies, go-to-market, M&A, commercial excellence).
- Strong problem-solving skills: fact based, logical, structured and systematic.
- Proven record of project management and senior stakeholder engagement / influencing skills in matrix organization.
- Strong leadership skills: drives, convinces and develops individuals.
- Strategic communication and presentation skills, fluent in English and Mandarin.
