Therefore, Volkswagen Group is consistently powering forward its “Target picture 2030” and the consistent “In China for China” approach.To date, about 50 million customers in China are driving cars from the Group brands - a customer base that is unparalleled by any other domestic or international automaker in the country.Platform DevOpsBrief description of the position:This position is responsible for conceptional designs building and maintaining the devops platforms, maintaining the tools that support the entire software development lifecycle, from code integration to deployment and continuous monitoring. Ensuring that the development and deployment processes are automated, efficient, and reliable, fostering a culture of continuous delivery and improvement.Key Tasks:

Plan, review and optimize the DevOps Tool sets with focus on continuous integration, overall platform concept including technology selection, deployment, integration and training of end users
Manage centralized Cl/CD inc. QA/Testing/Performance Review/ Capacity and making recommendations for improvement or upgrades.
Implement and optimize process and policies (strategy, design, transition, capacity testing, ops) in DevOps area and support with related contracts and their SLA tracking and reporting.
Support cloud based projects with performance test, monitoring, integration of the DevOps platform workflow.
Implement the DevOps Toolchain automation process, ensure the compatibility and interoperability of different tools within the DevOps ecosystem.
Continuously optimize pipeline performance and reliability, reducing build and deployment times while ensuring the quality of the delivered software.
Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline failures, implementing corrective actions and preventive measures.
Use infrastructure as Code (laC) principle and tools to define and manage the infrastructure required for DevOps platform and application deployments.
Set up alerts and notifications to proactively identify and address issues before they impact end-users.
Undertake other tasks assigned by direct supervisor.

Qualification and skills:

Bachelor or Master in computer science or equivalent. (or a comparable degree)
Additional master in business administration or business science would be an advantage.
Knowledge in Cloud and infrastructure technologies especially Terraform/Ansible.
Experience with Cl/CD Tool-Chain Setup and Operations, Code Quality Tools and Metrics.
Ability to learn and stay abreast of fast developing technology stacks.
IT Security Concepts and methodologies.
Basics of IT Architecture and Code Design/Development principles.
Cloud technology related certification.
English fluent, German would be an advantage.
PMP or equivalent certification.
