Take up the Supplier Quality Account Mgr (QAM) role. Be the contact window to supplier on quality requirements and performance.
Drive early supplier engagement in the NPI process, validate and (dis)approve release of products and processes at suppliers.
Report on performance, supports business reviews at suppliers
Control and (dis)approve changes of products and processes at suppliers using industry standard practices.
Be responsible for all quality related elements in supplier contracts, thus enabling cost of non-quality recovery
Be accountable for quick but complete resolution of complaints

Your qualifications:

Several years of experience in Quality, Procurement or Operations management
Strong knowledge in the Electronic Component technology area (Semiconductors, LEDs…) and their application in lighting products
Auditor qualifications and related experience
Thorough understanding of Quality Tools & modern engineering methods such as PPAP, D/PFMEA, MSA, control plans, SPC, Cpk, DfA, DfM, VE etc.)
Strong knowledge of problem-solving techniques (5xWhy, 8D, Fault tree etc.)
Influencing skills: collaborative yet can challenge confidently. Strong communicator
Acts with a sense of urgency
Bachelor’s degree in engineering/technology or a related discipline
