You will be the senior price analyst leading our expanding coverage into the global bulk ores markets, and their use in both ferroalloys and batteries.You will work alongside our industry-leading journalists and price reporters, located around the world.About The TeamMcCloskey by OPIS provides integrated offerings of market intelligence, price indexes and forecasting. Energy transition relies on a mineral-intensive process, and it is important to understand the dynamics shaping thermal and metallurgical coal, ferroalloys, iron ore, scrap, steel and base metals markets, globally and in important regions across Australia, Africa, India, China, Europe and the Americas.ResponsibilitiesAnalse bulk ore, ferroalloys and battery prices weekly, with a focus on China.Help launch new ferroalloys, bulk ores, and battery price assessments, define price specifications, gather market feedback.Create content on the ferroalloys, bulk ores and battery markets, working with reporters in Africa, Asia and Europe.Periodic pieces on topical industry issues (e.g. regulatory/policy developments, geopolitical issues, investment, project pipeline, ESG etc.).Maintain client and industry relationships - bringing these relationships from prior roles.
