- Develop and drive client strategies for assigned accounts to achieve planned business objectives and strategies.
- Manage end-to-end client relationships for the responsible accounts, ensuring delivery of the planned business contributions to the Greater China portfolio. This includes:
- Analysing market and client trends to identify aspects that are relevant for Munich Re and securing and growing profitable business with responsible clients.
- Unlocking further business potential and increasing dedication to meeting clients' needs.
- Managing client accounts and coordinating closely with Munich Re's expertise and resources to ensure high service standards, responsiveness, and delivery quality.
- Identifying clients' critical business challenges to develop tailored solutions featuring Munich Re`s USP and align with the core business strategy.
- Applying a solution-oriented approach and providing access to combined with the ability to provide the full spectrum of Munich Re solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including Client Management, Underwriting, Business analyst, Claims, as well as shared service departments (Finance, Risk Management) and other relevant Munich Re Group units.
- Drive the innovation, development and execution of concrete growth-focused initiatives with responsible clients.
- Act as an ambassador of Munich Re by representing its brand, identity and values, and contributing to a strong market reputation.
- Actively contribute to marketing activities including technical publications, social media, lectures and presentations at internal and external events.
- Outstanding academic profile with a university degree, preferably in economics, scientific or law.
- Proven experience in business development and client relationship management, or reinsurance brokerage, supported by in-depth marketing knowledge.
- Ability to engage clients on complex topics and articulate potential solutions clearly, confidently and professionally.
- Minimum 8 years' insurance experience (e.g. underwriting, client management or broking), with in-depth multi-line experience, sound knowledge of primary insurance (products, operations, sales), and experience with non-traditional products.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, supported by strong analytical skills, financial literacy and understanding of actuarial principles.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-management skills, with a confident, proactive, and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Strong client focus, empathy, integrity, and effective negotiation skills.
- Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, with the ability to manage priorities independently and efficiently.

- Fluent in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.
