- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Create detailed production routings, including sequencing of operations, resource allocation, and time estimates.
- Support the introduction of new products into manufacturing, ensuring smooth transition and successful production ramp-up.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineering, procurement, and quality assurance, to ensure manufacturability of new products.
- Design and document work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process guidelines for manufacturing personnel.
- Conduct time and motion studies to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
- Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify trends, root causes of issues, and areas for improvement.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to address process deviations, non-conformities, and quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with security clearance requirements and adhere to relevant regulations and standards.
- Provide technical support and training to manufacturing personnel to ensure proper execution of production processes.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in manufacturing process design and optimization, preferably in a highly regulated industry.
- Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and methodologies.
- Proficiency in developing work instructions, SOPs, and process documentation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address manufacturing challenges.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Fluent English in both writing and speaking
