The Tasks:You will be part of an international advisor team that supports German policymakers in their dialogues with their Chinese cooperation partners in the field of industry policy and technology development. Within the advisor team, this role has a focus on policy and data regulation.Your main responsibilities:As part of the project's advisor team, you are
Supporting the various projects in researching and preparing relevant information for the commissioning ministries.
Creating and disseminating knowledge products (e. g. factsheets, brochures, mappings) in the fields of industrial data ecosystems in China.
Assisting the maintenance of national and international networks and helping with the preparation and realization of workshops and events,
Supporting, maintaining, or setting up social media channels of the project if applicable and coordination with external communication service providers (e. g. design and layout firms).
Attending the regular Team meetings of GIZ in East Asia to exchange with other projects.
Skills & experienceQualification requirements:Note: only candidates who are enrolled in a university in China are eligible for this internship
Bachelor University degree in the fields of International Cooperation, Economic Sciences, Politics, Communication, or similar.
A winning and energetic personality who enjoys being part of a dynamic environment and feels comfortable in working with government and industry stakeholders.
Fluency in Chinese (native), German (written and oral), and English (business fluent).
Creative and strong communication skills.
Proficient with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
High-quality demand in work results, in “an eye for detail”.
Strong team player who works reliably, proactively, and follows through with commitments.
