Location of Position: Shanghai, ChinaRole & Responsibilities:Position Definition (Key Purpose of the Position) :The Senior Analyst will be a key contributor in transforming APAC Supply Chain Operations team into an organization that drives best practices in Supply Chain Analytics so as to bring significant impact to Supply Chain & its related area. To succeed, you will utilize both relationship building & strong analytical skill sets to lead strategic development of descriptive, predictive & gradually prescriptive analytical models.Key Result Areas:
Provide timely & constructive guidance in terms of Analytics roles, mindset & best practice
Train the potential analysts & Super Users to understand deeply the SC-related data & acquire analytics skills through active on-the-job sharing & mentoring
Promote the analytics mindset to the whole SC team, and also transform them with high literacy of analytics so as to adopt into their daily processes, with the objective to fully integrate business knowledge, analytics knowhow and technology
Actively listen to SC functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to make better decisions & translate them into Analytics solutions in the Agile approach & situational leadership style
Challenge the status quo, and lead the teams to think creatively & select the best Analytical perspectives & steps
Facilitate the cross-functional collaboration
Bring new Analytics perspectives/algorithms/models to tackle complex scenarios
Identify the road blockers & engage the relevant teams to drive the long-term solutions
Be accountable for delivering consistently high-quality deliverables
Engage in corporate projects & initiatives, mainly focusing in Data and/or Analytics area
