Specific Responsibilities Would Include::Handle end to end product’s development till shipment, ensure right quality, right vendor, right price and on time delivery.-Leverage global insights and design capability of supplier base to complement and enhance the buyer & designer’s product vision.
-Responsible for ensuring high quality suppliers are available to support our strategic aspirations. This requires ongoing work in understanding developments in the manufacturing base with the region to keep suppliers sharp and honest.
-Responsible for sample development against the calenda.
-Responsible for price negotiations, and therefore directly accountable for FOB price and margin outcomes of the buyer portfolio assigned.
-Monitor and improve delivery accuracy and production timeline of our supplier base.
-Responsible for ensuring strong collaboration with suppliers and NA buying teams alike, utilize tools such as Time-and Action (TNA) & Work-In-Progress (WIP) models to ensure accurate day-to-day order tracking.
-Responsible for submission checking and approval.
-Seek to resolve all escalated issues or seek timely guidance from Supervisor.
-Order Management (system).
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have::Additional Requirements
-5-10 years solid merchandising experience in relevant product categories – Children’s wear.
-Knowledge of garment manufacturing, including construction, fabrication, trim, and print techniques etc.
-Strong sourcing, negotiation and interpersonal skills to liaison between buyers and factories.
-Proven experience to be able to work with overseas vendors/factories.
-Demonstrate the ability to learn and work under pressure.
-Work efficient, detailed mind and result orientation.
-Excellent communication and influence skills both in English and Mandarin.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point etc.)Language Proficiency:
