- Ensure and execute appropriate Account development strategy within the assigned customer portfolio (Maintain, Strengthen, Develop) with thorough knowledge of customer business and strategy.
- Develop Account Plans with strategies and determine activities focused on customer needs and pain-points.
- Create Customer Value Plans together with customers in order to coordinate plans for priority customers.
- Demonstrate delivered added value through Customer Value Files (Savings) within the assigned customer portfolio.
- Maintain and/or develop trustful relationships securing customer commitment.
- Promote the mindset of “Manufacturing wellness” which is keeping costs and waste down and efficiency and circularity up by taking a holistic perspective, embracing new technology, using data and automation and investing in people development and strong partnerships.
- Opportunity Management - Provide accurate and timely market information regarding customers and competitors in CRM system “Dynamics 365”.
- Open and/or create Sales Pipelines based on opportunities with the customer. Support Sales Management in providing accurate forecasts, budgets and targets as required by an up-to-date and accurate Sales Pipeline Management in CRM system “Dynamics 365”.
- Achieve business and financial outcomes according to expectation for assigned customer portfolio.
- Review results and develop corrective actions securing results delivery according to plan.
- Ensures pre-meeting plans and preparations before each customer visit to secure efficient negotiation results.
- Engage internal stakeholder function teams with relevant competencies in the needed fields to deliver a Total Solution Offer that fits to the customer needs.
- Secure project work for customers by engaging required company resources into a project team.
- Ensures global and local pricing strategies are executed within all sales activities.
- Promotes the competitive advantage of Sandvik Coromant products and advanced solutions, highlighting differentiating advantages of Sandvik Coromant Total Value Chain Offer.
- Accountable to maintain customer commitments for long-term strategic partnership.
- Ensures high quality and latest updates of data and information on all sales activities in CRM system “Dynamics 365” within assigned customer portfolio.
- Constantly improve knowledge of the Sandvik Coromant Strategy and Total Solution Offer, as well as new tools and technologies by using the (e-) Learning and F2F training offer provided by Sandvik Group and Sandvik Coromant.
- All activities are executed in accordance with the requirements of Quality Management System and Sales & Marketing Playbook.
- Follows internal rules and regulations in accordance with our core values Customer focus, Innovation, Fair play and Passion to win.
- Provides and correctly processes internal documents as determined by the company.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical/manufacturing engineering or economics or a related field.
- Preferably five to seven years experiences in sales management with engineering cutting tools skills and knowledge or relevant manufacturing processes / basic business administration.
- Proven track record in delivering very good business results.
- Project management knowledge and experience.
- Successful experience from negotiations of commercial terms and conditions with industrial customers.
- Knowledge and experience of managing external and internal customer relationships.
- Relevant application knowledge.
