Our unique competitive advantages give us unmatched insight into the demands of the consumer.Learn more about Leggett & Platt Automotive:Key Responsibilities:1.Ensure, verify and improve EHS compliance with internal and external requirements including a system of regular audits; closely monitor new statutory regulations or requirements from Corporate.2.Initiate and conduct training activities to enhance EHS awareness and ensure correct reporting in Safeguard system3.Ensure legal requirements are being followed and regular meetings are conducted with the appropriate team4.Review and approval of new equipment regarding EHS5.Initiate and contribute in EHS improvement projects6.Leading a safety-first approach maintaining a zero-accident culture. Ensure and monitor work, accident prevention and safe working environment across the business7.Fulfill assigned primary, secondary and or tertiary deputy/back-up roles as assigned and required on occasion by the businessKnowledge, skills and abilities:
  • Extensive knowledge of local & Corporate regulations related to safety, health and environment in order to develop & implement & maintain measures of compliance
  • Demonstracte extensive knowledge of safe work behavior and habits
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills needed to analyze and intepret data trends
  • Very good presentation and training skills to conduct EHS training and to develop written procedures where required
