Conducting requirement analysis, designing and development, as well as coding.
This would entail areas such as,

Requirement analysis: Analyse the requirements
Design: Develop / review the technical design
Coding: Analyse and develop code as per specifications
Reviews: Conduct review of design/code/test plan and test results
Support: Provide post development support

Impact on the Business

Participate in feasibility studies and requirement analysis
Planning and analysis
Design and construction
Understand the requirement and identifying gaps if any
Prepare and participate in creating design documents as per requirements and within schedule
Execute project specific development activities in accordance to applicable standards and quality parameters
Developing / reviewing code
Assist/develop base classes/components for the projects

Operations Delivery Management
Ensuring strict adherence to all regulatory issues and compliance of all internal controls. Implement and comply with Group Compliance Policy and Should deliver considering the operational risk associated with the role.
Customers / Stakeholder Management

Knowledge Management & Ensuring use of best practices
Interaction with Team members & Improve Productivity
Continuous awareness and contribution towards technology / application
Contribute to knowledge repository
Communicate with the relevant project teams regarding resolving technical / application issues related to delivery of projects
Use tools and automation opportunities to increase productivity

Risk and Compliance Management
Analyze, anticipate and mitigate risk factors and work with the team and stakeholders to minimize risk.
Leadership & Teamwork

Interact with Team Members and specialists

Continuously upgrading and learning various technologies required for successful project delivery through continuous learning and training
Consistently providing best technical approach / application solutions for project execution
Constantly work towards improving technical / application capabilities of the teams

Requirements1. 3 - 5 years of hands on experience on said technology
2. Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or related discipline
Technical Summary:

Java Technologies: Java 1.5 onwards, REST, Collection, JDBC and Exception Handling, JTA , Servlet & Portlet
Frameworks/Libraries: Spring 3.0, Spring MVC, Hibernate 3.0, Junit, Log4J, SOAP web services, MuleSoft or any other integration technology
Platforms: Database (Oracle, MySQL), Application Server (WAS, JBoss)
Software Development Methodology: Agile Methodology
Scripting Languages: HTML, JavaScript , AJAX
