- Establish and refine the overall product architecture, including the detailed design of individual components and subsystems.
- Identify and resolve structural design challenges to ensure integrity, durability, and performance compliance.
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout the new product design and development process.
- Develop an initial tooling plan in alignment with design requirements and manufacturing feasibility.
- Prepare a preliminary Bill of Materials (BOM) to define materials, parts, and preliminary costs.
- Create and maintain detailed component drawings ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
- Estimate prototype costs, including materials, labor, and external services.
- Develop and monitor the prototype development schedule to ensure timely completion.
- Communicate directly with customers to address project-related issues, clarify requirements, and report progress.
- Create and modify 3D CAD models to reflect design changes and validation feedback.
- Analyze product specifications and translate them into feasible and innovative design solutions.
- Perform functional verification tests to ensure the prototype meets all design and performance criteria.
- Develop, program, and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks) for milling, turning, and multi-axis machining centers.
- Interpret technical drawings, geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T), and specifications to ensure accurate program creation.
- Perform machine setup, including the selection and installation of appropriate tools, fixtures, and workholding devices.
- Conduct first-off inspections and make precise adjustments to programs and machine offsets to achieve required part quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machining processes, tooling, program errors, and machine malfunctions to minimize downtime.
- Establish and document standard operating procedures (SOPs), setup sheets, and tooling lists for production processes.
- Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to review designs for manufacturability (DFM) and implement process improvements.
- Familiar with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, PRO/E, Freeform, Microsoft office
- Familiar with hardware and assembly process.
- Be provided with the concept of continuous improvement and innovation.
- At least 10 years project development experience in toy industry。
- Good command of read and written English.
- Have a certain ability to analyze and deal with problems.
- Familiar with the production process of product design.
- Education above junior college level.
- When carrying out this task, we need to stand or sit up, have flexible hands and feet, and have normal listening and speaking ability.
- The ability of color judgment is needed. The color blind and the weak are not suitable for this work.
- General factory working environment.
- There may be business trips around Jiangxi Province, Guangdong Province, Hongkong, Shanghai and the surrounding areas.
