Job detailsPosted 11 March 2024 LocationChina Reference8965Job DescriptionRepresenting my client who is a major retail player of the region, currently in search of a solid Commercial Development Manager lead the business.Mission of this manager is to oversee business growth efforts on behalf of the group. Their duties include conducting market research to identify new business opportunities and new contracts.Duties:
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to expand customer base, increase market share, and achieve sales targets.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential customers, market trends, and competition in China.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to penetrate the Chinese market and achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify and establish relationships with key decision-makers, strategic partners, and industry associations to expand our network and generate leads.
  • Lead negotiations and close deals with clients, ensuring profitable and sustainable business partnerships.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, market insights, and business development progress to senior management.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, market dynamics, and regulatory changes that may impact our business in China.
Requirement:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Commercial / Business Development Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the retail sector.
  • Must have deep understanding of the Chinese market, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully establishing and managing business relationships in China.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing business strategies that resulted in revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
