Consultant Specialist

• Work as part of Global Digital Engineering team with responsibility for API delivery.
• Collaborate with API Architects & Technical Platform Architects to understand& feedback for the established API best practice.
• Work with Global Enterprise/Solution Architects to review end-to-end technical design.
• Lead engineers to work on API delivery including API development & deployment with good quality & on schedule.
• Review/Ensure the technical design/code structure is technically coherent and future proof and compliance with technology standards and regulatory obligations.
• Identify any issues that may arise to delivery risk, formulate preventive actions or corrective measures and timely escalate major project risks & issues to senior management.
• Define project scope, list out priority of all items in project.
• Set up team goals, ensure every teammate aware and excute goal with time line.
• Define develop detailed project plan and schedules, ensure pod team delivery by the project plan.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, make all stackholder aware project status and fix the block during delivery.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure their requirements are met no matter scope but also for quality.
• Provide professional consultancy/support immediately for application teams' queries/requests.

• University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Solid and proficient skills in Java, Spring Framework, Web Service, JSON, RAML.
• Knowledge or experience in Enterprise Integration Platform (EIP) and API design with implementation experience on any ESB tools (e.g. IIB , Kong, MQ, SpringBoot).
• Knowledge and experience of DevOps, Microservice, Restful API, Agile concepts. SAFe Agilist certificate is a plus.
• Knowledge of DevOps tooling such as Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Splunk, Jira/Confluence, AppD, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Solid knowledge of SQL, DDL and database design.
• Solid knowledge of BDD, Continuous Integration, Selenium, continuous deployment and testing.
• Solid knowledge of external cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services, or Ali Cloud.
• Track record in working on the delivery of complex deployment projects and under diversified/ matrix structure.
• Strong business sense with good understanding in how IT systems impact business objectives.
• Strong communication, presentation & influencing skills, able to operate well across cultures and in multi-cultural, diverse work environments.
• Strong analytical, design and problem solving skills.
• Excellent team player with ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Strong project planning and management skill, including but not limited in define project scope, goal, plan, schedule, monitor&track project progress and deliverables.
• Strong stakeholder management including communicate project status, stakeholder expectations.
• Strong risk management skill including but not limited in clear blocker, discover potential risk, fix risk and issue.
• Strong team coordination including but not limited in lead and motivate the development team, facilitate commucation and collaboration among team members.
• Strong quality assurance capability, ensure that the project meets quality standards, implement best practices and processes for development and delivery.
• Good command of written and spoken English. Mandarin is also preferred.
• Able to work at flexible hour for late evening meeting with colleagues in various regions, API deployment & production support.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Willing to learn/explore various technologies especially in Integration domain.
• Test management / project management / scrum master hand-on experience will be a plus.
• Working in a global team with different cultures.
• Knowledge or experience in Cloud technologies adoption such as AWS/Azure/GCP is a plus.
• Knowledge in Cloud testing.
• Experience in API design is a plus.
